Job Summary:

The HR Specialist is responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, policy implementation, recruitment, performance management, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor law.

Responsibilities:

  1. Administers HR plans and procedures for all company personnel, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  2. Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a fair and consistent work environment.
  3. Maintains the employee handbook and policy/procedure manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
  4. Collaborates in the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems to support the company’s strategic initiatives.
  5. Manages the compensation program, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
  6. Monitors the performance evaluation program, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Oversees benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, invoice approval, and effective communication of benefits information to employees.
  8. Leads recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees, ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
  9. Conducts engaging and informative new employee orientations to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
  10. Monitors the career path program, providing guidance and resources to support employee growth and development.
  11. Provides confidential employee relations counseling, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and objective manner.
  12. Offers outplacement counseling services to support employees during transitions.
  13. Conducts thorough and insightful exit interviews to gather valuable feedback for organizational improvement.
  14. Writes and places effective job advertisements to attract top talent.
  15. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  16. Assists in evaluating departmental reports, decisions, and outcomes in relation to established goals, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  17. Ensures strict compliance with all applicable Egyptian labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Egyptian labor law is essential.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  6. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  7. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  8. Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
