Value International Group is seeking a visionary and highly skilled Design Manager to lead the
design process for diverse engineering and construction projects. This role requires expertise in
managing multidisciplinary design teams, ensuring compliance with project objectives, and
delivering innovative and efficient design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership:
- Oversee the development of project designs from concept to completion.
- Ensure designs align with client requirements, project goals, and industry standards.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of designers, architects, and engineers.
- Foster collaboration and maintain high performance across the design team.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate design solutions into project plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of design milestones and resolve design-related issues.
- Quality Control:
- Establish and enforce quality standards for design processes and deliverables.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate design concepts and progress effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Incorporate client feedback to refine and enhance design outputs.
- Innovation and Sustainability:
- Integrate innovative and sustainable design practices into projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance design quality.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage design budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Allocate resources effectively to support project demands.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure designs meet local and international regulations and standards.
- Obtain necessary approvals from regulatory authorities.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to design execution and deliverables.
- Provide solutions to overcome technical challenges.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed design reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes and decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in design management, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Proficiency in design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices is an advantage.
