Value International Group is seeking an experienced and innovative BIM Manager to lead and
oversee all aspects of the company’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. This role
includes managing BIM strategies, supervising teams, ensuring project deliverables meet industry
standards, and fostering collaboration across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Strategy Development:
- Design and implement company-wide BIM strategies to align with project and organizational goals.
- Ensure BIM workflows and processes comply with international standards and best practices.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor BIM coordinators and team members to ensure efficient performance.
- Develop training programs to enhance the technical skills and capabilities of the BIM team.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless BIM integration in all phases of project delivery.
- Resolve technical and coordination challenges to maintain project timelines and quality.
- Modeling and Data Management:
- Oversee the development and management of accurate BIM models, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Implement robust data management protocols to maintain the integrity of BIM datasets.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related inquiries and updates.
- Facilitate regular meetings with clients and project teams to review progress and address issues.
- Technology Implementation:
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and tools, incorporating advancements into company operations.
- Manage software licenses, updates, and integrations to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with local regulations, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Establish and enforce quality control measures for BIM processes and outputs.
- Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on BIM progress, challenges, and outcomes for senior management.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in BIM practices.
- Resource Planning:
- Evaluate resource needs, including software, hardware, and personnel, to support BIM activities.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
- Innovation and Growth:
- Explore opportunities to expand BIM services and capabilities within the organization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that enhance project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (BIM certifications are highly preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM management and coordination.
- Proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
