Job Summary:
The HR Specialist is responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, training and development, benefits administration, policy implementation, recruitment, performance management, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor law.
Responsibilities:
- Administers HR plans and procedures for all company personnel, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, contributing to a fair and consistent work environment.
- Maintains the employee handbook and policy/procedure manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
- Collaborates in the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems to support the company’s strategic initiatives.
- Manages the compensation program, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Monitors the performance evaluation program, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversees benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, invoice approval, and effective communication of benefits information to employees.
- Leads recruitment efforts for exempt and non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees, ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
- Conducts engaging and informative new employee orientations to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
- Monitors the career path program, providing guidance and resources to support employee growth and development.
- Provides confidential employee relations counseling, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and objective manner.
- Offers outplacement counseling services to support employees during transitions.
- Conducts thorough and insightful exit interviews to gather valuable feedback for organizational improvement.
- Writes and places effective job advertisements to attract top talent.
- Maintains company organization charts and employee directory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assists in evaluating departmental reports, decisions, and outcomes in relation to established goals, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensures strict compliance with all applicable Egyptian labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian labor law is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
