Value International Group is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Engineer to join our team. This role
combines technical expertise in contract management with a deep understanding of engineering
specifications, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all required
specifications and legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Preparation and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze contracts and legal documents for engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and legal obligations.
- Claims Management:
- Manage and analyze claims both quantitatively and qualitatively.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Technical and Legal Advice:
- Provide technical and legal advice on contract terms.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure legal and engineering compliance.
- Contract Execution and Monitoring:
- Monitor contract execution to ensure all parties adhere to agreed terms.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones in line with contractual commitments.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, legal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in contract analysis and management for engineering projects.
- Knowledge of various engineering contracts and types, such as FIDIC.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Professional certifications or diplomas in contracts and law are preferred.
